So this is christmas 2014...and where have I gone?

With the holidays approaching fast I knew that there was one gift I really wanted for 2014: A gift to myself and a gift that only I would be able to surprise myself with - My own business...again! To fill you in what it has been like so far as a fashion design business owner from San Diego to SF and new business owner in San Francisco I welcome you to join my journey of entrepreneurship as I'll keep you updated on my progress.

My first pop up in October 2014 at Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center.

Coincidently all Renaissance girls wore black after my LBD pop up the week before.

So far:

Got my business license last month (yay!), bank account with Credit Union SF & website set up (domain host switching, server account changes, etc...don't ask it's been quite a hurdle), and had a couple of pop-up opportunities (at Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center and one at Nextspace hosted by The Expat woman) where I sold six dresses. I've been traveling to New York to purchase more inventory for my LBD collection, and have been curating necklaces as well. I've also started to offer hand-painted dresses by me which are my ultimate favorites to sell. I love seeing them on other women. Creating a dress another woman likes to wear is the biggest compliment to me. I've been dressing women since 2008 and it never seizes to amaze me how beautiful it is to see another woman look great in a Petra O. design. I'm certain I'm addicted to the feeling of seeing other women happy about their dresses.

Until next week,

My second pop up at an event hosted by The Expat Woman. This time I'm introducing hand-painted dresses by Petra O.
