ON the hunt for Little black Dress Fabric in l.a.

Starting a new business is all about GETTING STARTED! So what did I do last week? I went to L.A. to get the production ball rolling!

After conducting a survey on the perfect little black dress for work and play I decided to head to L.A.'s garment district and purchase fabrics for the first run of my prototyp production.

While browsing local fabric stores I also met with the awesome folks Frances and Andreu from the FBI. Now you're probably thinking what was Petra doing at the FBI? Ha, let me tell you what it stands for first: Fashion Business Incorporated!

FBI is a non-profit organization helping people in fashion gain access to resources and other fashion related services, and that's exactly what they did for me! I even got to chat with the famous Frances Harder, author of Fashion for Profit & founder of FBI, and she was fabulous.

Thanks Frances Harder for signing me the a copy of the ultimate fashion  bible: Fashion for Profit!
